FIVE FAVOURITE FINDS FOR FALL

As Autumn (Fall) is fast-approaching, I think it’s crucial to invest in simple, versatile and trendy pieces to transform your wardrobe. Check out my favourite finds below:

1. Faux Leather Sleeved Basic Tee

This t-shirt from ZARA has become my new favourite thing. While a t-shirt may be commonly associated with the warmer months, the leather sleeves make it ideal for the more classic feel to AW12 collections. Only £17, too! The grey and black combo compliment each other perfectly - but they also sell a khaki and black version too.

2. Faux Leather Detailed Peplum

This basically combines the two biggest trends hitting the high street this Winter: leather and the uber trendy peplum shape. The detailing on the top also takes it to a whole new level of class and sophistication, for only £39.99. On the ZARA site, the model pairs the look with leather trousers for a super chic interpretation. But this can literally be paired with a pair of black skinnies or a pencil skirt. Just… Yummy.

3. Vintage-styled Denim Jacket

I’ve always been a bit suspect of vintage clothing (until recently) so I was desperately on the hunt for a vintage-styled denim jacket that was actually brand new. I came across this divine staple piece from American Apparel, for £65. It coordinates perfectly with pretty much everything and will be even more useful for those days when I need a lighter weight jacket, on the warmer Autumn days.

4. Studded Ankle Boots

I have been noticing a “Western Kick” to footwear these days and thought I might implement the trend into my wardrobe. This overly studded ankle boot works as a pick-me-up to any casually boring outfit, without being overkill. Office Shoes have these beauties in black, white or red. The red ones are almost identical to the 10 times more expensive Chloe boots that Sienna Miller basically lives in. £80 but worth it, I’d say!

5. Plated and Spiked Belt

Metal plated belts are ON THE RISE. My goodness, I know they WILL be absolutely everywhere come October - latest. I first spotted Khloe Kardashian in a metal belt in July some time and I immediately wanted one. I purchased mine from ZARA for £17.99 but these ASOS ones are pretty similar (colour aside) and only £15. Any monochrome outfit immediately becomes edgy. Love.

Happy shopping!
